Taking place in the fictional setting of the Gobbo Valley, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos follows a young crocodile named Croc, who sets out to rescue a group of furry creatures known as Gobbos from the evil magician Baron Dante. It was released in North America in September 1997 for the Sony PlayStation, and later that year for the Sega Saturn and Microsoft Windows. The whole reason I started playing crocs world in the first place is because it was the only game I could find that was like the old super Mario, now this new one is not. I loved the old super Mario, and still have them but the new ones made for iPads etc. You miss a lot of the coins and boxes because there might be a bad guy in the way and you can't pause and wait for it to go by so that you can get the box. It takes all the fun out of the game as you basically just sit and watch the croc run. You can only tap the screen to make him jump and if there are walls tap repeatedly and he jumps back and forth between them to climb them. This is very lame! The other three crocs worlds are great! In this new one they copied super Mario and removed the arrow buttons, apparently that's why it's called run! All the croc does is run. Extremely disappointing! Copied super Mario.
